The sandblasting finish is obtained thanks to the corrosive action of an abrasive mixture composed of air and sand, projected on the surface of the slabs at high pressure and speed. The result is a rough surface, non-cutting, and apparently smooth to the touch. It is mainly used for external coatings due to its anti-slip properties and for its maintenance and cleaning conveniences.
